Not a DIY but very easy install for anyone with vacuum pump and gauges. The only complaint I have is not with the unit but the shipping company. The box had been hit on the valve end and the plastic valve cover was broken. Maybe someone will actually read this and send me a replacement piece. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

First time bringing up a multi zone system took a bit of a learning curve, but all good. One suggestion that I might make is your team should do videos on all your systems so the DIY installers have another method of reviewing what’s required inregards to installation and a startup process.

I didn’t realize that the heat source took a while before it actually started producing heat, but works great. that confuse me for a while. l ended up doing additional troubleshooting that wasn’t necessary.

That’s why I recommend a video for your customers but thanks. Great product!!

What a great product to make the installation look professional , was easy to use and install and love the look after it was installed , it also had different pieces to finish it whether staright out or angled out , I used the straight out and it looks great.

The whole install was easy as long as you pay attention to detail and follow the instructions. Take your time. My only complaint is the installation of the USB wifi module. You need a screwdriver to pry open the compartment. I pried as far as I could and it would not open. Had to call to confirm this was how to open it. Confirmed! Come on MrCool, lets come up with a better way to open these points without needing to take a pry bar to it. The risk of breaking plastic parts is too great. It was a daunting task with my $2900 unit.

I ordered the Wall mount bracket, the 9000 btu unit and the cosmetic coverings. Could not be more happy with my unit. Super easy to install, great instructions, and it works fantastic. Delivery was in a timely manner, the boxes were all intact and looked well packed. Whisper quiet, I use it in a room where i regularly sleep. Love it!!

We have gotten the unit installed and started-up. All systems functioned well on the initial start-up. We are very happy with the units construction.

This is the ninth one I have installed. They work great!!! I turned My Freind that does mitsobichi mini splits into installing Mr cool!!!!

Everything was as advertised. Delivery was speedy and easy. Easy setup. Mine was a replacement of a Daikin split unit installed by a HVAC professional that only lasted 2 years. So I removed the old unit and installed the Mr. Cool unit by myself. I have no HVAC training. All assembled by watching the Mr Cool installation video. Working great so far!

Unit works great. Set it and forget it.i love it!!

Instructions were a little out of order, read everything front to back 2-3 times before starting install. If you do that you will have no problems, mine had no refrigerant leaks and started right up and cooled the space as intended. Great DIY unit, one day install.

I got it in and its made my Arizona room totally livable. In fact I have to raise the temp setting so it doesn’t get too cold. Very quiet! I believe I saved several thousand dollars versus using a AC contractor.

I’m handy and 69 years old and found the installation process taxing. I completed the job over 3 mournings

Delivered on time with no damage. Instructions fairly clear. Actual DIY installation went smoothly. Although home owner must have an aptitude for such a project. Sales personnel top notch. MRCOOL telephone technical help desk was, well, helpful sorting out a misprint in the manual concerning power requirements for my unit. Project took three days to complete by myself except I had a friend help to lift the outside hefty condenser unit onto the stand. Operating wonderfully for two days now. However it will take me a little time to sort out all the functions of the remote control. Overall, a good experience. Thanks for asking.
